Now formally announcing for North American consumption the match made ‘for Heaven’ with the introduction of the NEW Esoteric Grandioso Series E1 Phono Preamplifier; designed to pair with the world’s finest turntable, the Esoteric Grandioso Series T1, as well any other high-performance turntable that has been waiting for an opportunity like this one to come along in order to really spread its’ wings.

Unlike the T1, the NEW E1 is far from being Esoteric’s first phono preamplifier, but it is the first one to proclaim the Grandioso designation.   Like the T1, the NEW E1 is unique among others in its’ class, boasting proprietary technology exclusive within the Esoteric line.

The seemingly endless feature set includes:

  • Fully Balanced Dual-Mono Discrete Circuitry
  • Current Transmission input with variable gain control
  • Traditional Voltage Transmission input with variable gain control
  • 3 Balanced ‘Current’ Inputs (XLR) for MC Cartridges; input section includes its own dedicated power supply and transformer
  • 1 Optical Cartridge Input with its own dedicated, fully balanced/dual mono phono stage preamplifier section; section includes its own dedicated power supply and transformer
  • 1 RCA Input for MM/MC – variable load capacity for MM; section includes its own dedicated power supply and transformer
  • Esoteric HCLD (High Current Line Driver), which has an amazingly fast slew rate of 2,000V/μs, mounted in parallel on a signal line.
  • Esoteric ESLA (ES Link) – proprietary zero impedance signal path technology – Compared to conventional voltage transmission, this method transmits approximately 100 times more current, allowing it to convey the full energy of the music 
  • 4 independent power supplies & power transformers 
  • 6 Preset EQ Curves + 4 Custom EQ Settings
  • Turnover and Rolloff settings work in conjunction with the EQ Curves
