The Signature combines the technological and material science advancements from the entire Clearaudio turntable line, highlighted by the AiR 12 V DC coreless motor with a new speed control circuity derived from the award-winning Reference Jubilee turntable.
The Signature incorporates a newly developed “Tacho-Speed-Control” that constantly monitors the rotational speed and provides real-time feedback to the control electronics, enabling the system to immediately respond to dynamic influences such as stylus drag, belt tension, friction, or temperature.
A version of the O-Ring IMS (improved motor suspension), derived from the Reference Jubilee turntable, isolates the AiR DC coreless motor, for enhanced vibration control.
Physical isolation is accomplished with convenient leveling feet from the Performance DC turntable.
The Tonearms
The Clearaudio Satisfy tonearms feature high-quality handmade Swiss vertical and lateral bearings composed of a pure polished sapphire. They come wired with Clearaudio’s Direct Wire in order to provide an unbroken low-resistance signal path from the cartridge pins through the arm tube to the phono-preamplifier.
The precision-milled aluminum headshell is mated to either a black aluminum or carbon fiber arm tube and allows for accurate cartridge alignment including azimuth adjustment.
In addition, the Satisfy arms feature an elegant, innovative magnetic anti-skating control and a precision aluminum cueing mechanism. The Carbon offers a lighter weight and higher rigidity over the Black.
