Product Description
The Clarus Cables Concerto is designed to provide your system components with AC power that has been scrubbed clean of unwanted extraneous noise that is either residing on your building’s internal power grid or noise that has been induced by Electromagnetic Interference (EMI). Through the application of innovative engineering combined with many hours of listening to music from both analog and digital components, Clarus developed Concerto, a state-of-the-art AC line conditioner, noise eliminator and surge suppressor.
The Clarus Cables Concerto has eight (8) Hospital-Grade duplex outlets each arranged at a 45° angle making it easier to connect your component’s AC plug. The Hospital-Grade outlets are electrically isolated to prohibit inter-outlet interaction. Outlet banks are labeled specifically for the appropriate component-type for which it was designed to provide the highest level of filtering. Two outlets labeled: HIGH CURRENT are connected to a massive 30A C-Core filter designed to deliver full power without restricting dynamics to power amplifiers, receivers and powered subwoofers. Four outlets labeled: DIGITAL connect to filter systems specifically designed to deliver clean power to DAC and CD player. Clarus’ proprietary design of complex multi-level filtering provides the best attenuation of noise while not restricting dynamics. Two outlets labeled: ANALOG delivers clean AC power that will allow analog music to bloom. The technologically advanced C-Core has superb magnetic properties that performs and sounds better than any filter available. The Concerto’s high performance hospital grade outlets are engineered with advanced materials to ensure electrical contact reliability over time. In addition, the Clarus Concerto provides Vibration Control, Under/Over Voltage protection, Surge Suppression and a cable support bar to easily handle the heaviest power cable.

Clarus Receives 4 Editors’ Choice Awards from The Absolute Sound!
““Clarus’ five-tier approach to conditioning lowers the noise floor without restricting dynamics. Reviewer Matt Clott’s digital and analog sources benefited from what the Concerto provided: blacker backgrounds, more dynamics, and a cleaner canvas upon which to paint the music”.”

So, you’ve assembled this great high-end system—components, speakers, cabling, isolation devices, various tweaks, and so on—and you’re experiencing what you believe is the highest fidelity your system is capable of. But have you considered power conditioning? The subject is not nearly as controversial as it once was. Most major audio magazines, this publication included, have extolled the virtues of cleaning up the power that runs from the wall to your stereo.
The problem in evaluating their effects is that power conditioners are designed to remove noise, not add to or enhance the musical signal. Many current components already incorporate various levels of power conditioning, some quite sophisticated. This is an area where system-to-system interactions may greatly vary, even more than with other gear. Stated more simply, some types of equipment are more profoundly affected by power fluctuations or impurities than others. With that caveat out of the way, let’s look at a very interesting design by Clarus, and a handsome one at that. Unpacking the Concerto power conditioner ($3600, all prices USD) revealed a solid, elegant, full-sized black chassis with a neat, uncluttered front panel.
