Product Description
The Daniel Hertz Anton has a combination of qualities unavailable in any other speaker.
While able to faithfully reproduce the most delicate musical repertoire such as classical string instruments and voices, Anton can play back recordings of the most powerful genres such as pop, rock, and house music, with deep bass, punch, dynamics and pinpoint imaging.
Based on new pro audio speaker driver technology, Anton’s 15” woofer with coaxial compression driver tweeter simply won’t come near clipping with even the most demanding recordings. At the same time, with soft music, the sound is warm, clear, and open, with a high level of detail including reproducing the harmonics, air and acoustic space.
The speaker driver is the motor
Daniel Hertz is an engineering company dedicated to maximum performance and minimalist design. Reproducing music without compromise is like building an F1 car – the foundation is the math. Anton is based on a high performance 15” coaxial driver with specifications and performance beyond any speaker available (short of the DH M1 Delta which is 10 times the price). Anton’s 15” coaxial driver moves more air faster and cleaner, with astonishing acceleration, efficiency, power handling, deep bass extension and pinpoint imaging. The DH in-house designed crossover enables amazing linear response across the audio band. The cabinet is made with carefully engineered dimensions, high mass wood with internal bracing, and precisely tuned. Like a 1200 HP V12 motor, Anton’s 15” coaxial driver delivers performance you can’t get another way.
Titanium Finish
The Daniel Hertz Anton is made with a new type of finish from Italy – a dark grey titanium paint. This finish is modern and fresh, not glossy but has life like metal. The dark grey finish matches with most interior décor.
Anton’s titanium finish and appearance reflect the no-nonsense, no-frills purpose of this speaker: to deliver maximum performance with natural sound, wide dynamic range and deep bass with minimalist, elegant design.
Designer options including wood sides and other colors at additional cost.
Power requirements
50W of power with Anton produces sound pressure level (Spl) of 118dB, that would require 800W with a typical speaker with efficiency of 87dB. Even if an amplifier could put out 800 W, almost no high end audio speaker can take it. Not all repertoire requires wide dynamic range. But no-compromise music reproduction with recordings from all genres and eras cannot be achieved without dynamic range beyond what is available from even the most expensive high end audio speakers. Anton sets you free with unprecedented dynamic range capability.
