The Pro-Ject CD Box DS2 T is designed exclusively as a reference CD transport, sending a refined digital signal to an external DAC. A durable drive is essential for optimal CD-reading, which is why our drive is housed in a torsion-resistant cabinet. Our servo system allows real-time scanning with minimal jitter. We offer this stand-alone transport because individually-housed & powered components are capable of more refined sonics. This gives you further control over the sound of your CDs, allowing you to pair the transport with your preferred DAC.
